Been at the table for a couple hours and viewed as Lag as I have been raising and c-betting consistently(in LP) mostly taking it down otf with the exception of a couple hands where my TPGK ran into TPTK leaving me a little under even

Villain: TAG Def a reg and thinking player, comes off as a pro and has been paying attention(I raise in co after hour and a half at the table for 12 and he says "What is that A7s?" because my standard raise was 15

I have about 200 he has me covered

I get KK in hijack-1 couple limpers I raise 15 as usual and Villain on Btn 3bets 40 folds to me I call
Flop(85)
A78r
I check he checks
Turn(85)
3
I shove he tank calls
blank river

I show and he mucks QQ doesnt show but I believe him When he 3b pf I had his range 1010+ AQ+ but mainlystrong pocket pairs then the check on flop made me sure he didnt hit it. Steaming he tells me I turned my hand into a bluff and he changes tables shortly after

I don't get this at all. What are you asking? You took a good line and got paid off. Esstinaly you did make your hand a bluff though, I don't think he re raised with you with any Ax that wont call the river with an A, and I don't think you were getting anyone with any other card to call. He called because he didn't think you hit the board at all and could have maybe KxQx.

I think this is just spew.

Why are you convinced he's betting TPTK (AK) or a set of Aces OTF 100% of the time? If he puts you on a fairly wide range and views you as aggressive (as you say you are perceived as LAG) then it's likely for him to check back hands that beat you on the flop but might not get a call from you and encourage you to fire on the turn - which you did.

Looks like a poorly veiled brag too tbh

Like I said I put him on that small range leaning heavily towards the 1010+ and otf he didnt seem like he hit the board and was really trying to gage me before he checked and yes obviously he could be gaging how to extract with the set but once again I didnt feel that was likely. Also, my mistake, the table viewed me as LAGy but the villain I believe saw me as a TAG thinking player like him because he was the only one paying attention to me not showing down many pots that I won and only playing in LP and just exploiting the weak passives at the table.

And as far as this hand being a brag, no it's the only hand I had the time and memory to put into my notes at the table and I recorded it because it was a big pot. I had a few other way better hands for analysis but since my memory sucks so bad that if I dont get up right after the hand to record all the details I will forget them as soon as I get into another critical or even marginal hand

You are overbet shoving 2x-pot with a bluff catcher? Don't do that.

PS: good players will have some combos A-x/AK/AA in their check back range for exactly the reasons shown in this hand.

If you are viewed as a LAG just 4 bet and get it in. Isn't that what you have been playing that style for? To pick up a big hand and get it in? You shoving with an A on board seems bad but worked out in this situation. You are typically only getting called when beat when you over shove 160 into 80.
