Hero - $1000 - Not running well at this table. Losing to random hands that the fish are playing like J5o and random draws that are getting there on 4 card flushes and straights.
Fish $1500 - Playing a lot of hands and hitting. Haven't seen him make any wild bluffs but he is running well, and playing too many hands.

If your read is he doesn't like to bluff just fold and move on. Only draw on board was the flush that came in, and Fishy player could be calling down with AK as well.

WP, op. Preflop sizing is good as well. I'd personally do $40 esp since we're OOP, but $35 is fine.
Now fold river. If you got shown some random bluff/spazz/double float with 54, nh lol. The flop didn't really have any straight draws, so he has to be turning some SDV hand into a bluff for you to be winning here. Turn doesn't even bring another backdoor flush draw.
I'd probably call river if there were an OESD OTF, since he's super polarized here and is repping only a flush. And we have Kc blocker, he can't have Axcc/Qxcc.

Well the ace doesn't change much but clubs getting there does. Fish generally don't bluff and this doesn't seem like a bluff, especially when V makes it so big on the river. This is close but i'm leaning towards a fold, but couldn't blame you for making the call either.

You obv block the nut flush, that being said even if V did bluff what hands would he have missed with and chose to bluff? He could also easily show up w AQ here, just fold.

I don't see how hero could call and win here. You'll have better spots to try to catch a bluff. From your description of the fish, I think you're beat here very often.
