Juicey 1/2 home game hero JJ in sb

Juicey home game I play at regularly. My table image is pretty aggressive but have only shown strong hands and winners

Villain is an ok player playing roughly 18-20% of hands in 2 hrs up 300ish. 500 effective
2 limpers villain tanks raises to 30 CO calls Button folds Hero in sb raises to 90.
Folds to villain raises to 310 total CO folds.

At this point I'm thinking he's protecting AK AQ or less than 1010's.
I felt as if he had kk or aa he would have shoved my raise.
I call and have 240 behind (he's covered by 30-40)

Flop 9h 3s 5d

Hero shoves villain calls

If you 4bet would you make it smaller seeing your playing JJ OOP?

Do you think it's logical to flat his 5 bet seeing I have him protecting a ****ty pair and broadway connectors? I can always get away from flop if there's a A or K on it.

good flop for getting it in. smells like he has qq+ when he 4-bets pre though. flatting is fine if you think those are his holdings. raising all in is fine too

You 3bet pre, not 4bet. Fold to the 4bet pre. As played shove flop.

Who raises to 310 @ 500 effective? Why does that mean he has medium value? As if hes ever folding now.

Given the description of villain I don't three bet. That raise size is huge and you might be behind his range. I would have to have reason to believe he is opening wide in the CO to three bet.

After the 3bet fold to the 4bet.

I think flatting is best pre because you control the size of the pot, gain information about the strength of your opponent's hand on later streets, and gain value from possibly flopping a set.

Is the villain straightforward or tricky? If he is straightforward, I lead the flop (assuming we flat and the limpers fold) for $40.

Am I missing something? Why would jacks ever be good here?

Fold to the 4bet

If I get everything... limp limp and vilain raise to 30 ! (15x ?)
Reraising is fine though I would just flat in that situation since the sizing is huge. He obviously has AQ+ 99+ which you are only semi good against.

As played pre: Fold to 4b, his range is super narrow and only some pocket that you beat (if your read is good) and a lot of things that beat you or flip. Fold to 4b
As played... We have to shove it in on flop.

GRUNCH

Fold to the 4 bet pf here, looks like you are over valuing Jacks. I am likely just flatting here before the flop for pot control, as well and looking to make a good read post-flop. As played you are pot committed IMO, getting it in on any non Ace high flop.

Um, tank raise 15x pre flop is usually a monster. I put him on QQ+ right there and call to set mine. And wtf, the 4 bet makes me put him on exactly KK+ and now you no longer have the odds to set mine.

Man, if he had AK or TT he's nuts. If you know that he plays AK/TT like this in this home game then maybe this play is justifyable. It's just everything he does screams aces or kings.

So you started the hand with 550? And you call 310 pre? Why not just shove pre? Calling over half your stack pf is bad imo. Also don't like open shoving this flop, only getting call by AA KK QQ
