1/2, Been at table for about 2 hours, didn't know anyone before I arrived. Table is great. Tons of limping pre, usually 2-3 callers after a raise over limpers. All in all some pretty standard bad/loose passive play. Little attention paid to kickers. I have a tight, winning image, but I have also been seen raising J9ss from HJ, c-betting J34ss flop, and then shoving a blank turn where I got called by a worse draw.
So the hand:
I have 400, one villain has around 350, everyone else in the hand has between 60 and 200.
In small blind with J
T
, 4 limpers to me, BB never raises preflop.
I don't want to raise and end up whiffing multiway OOP, so I just complete. I guess folding is okay, I don't really see a great argument for raising.
BB checks, the flop (10$) is 6
7
3
I like leading out here better than x/calling, but for some reason I just checked. It checks to BTN (350$) who bets 15. It's unusual for him to be overbetting the pot like this, it suggests to me a made hand rather than a draw, or a strong draw, possibly just a bluff but I doubt it.
I ended up just folding as I don't like my position, don't like that I didn't lead the flop, and am a bit weary of the overbet.
Sorry I guess this hand was actually pretty boring. But I'm interested anyway in what others are doing preflop, on the flop, and also facing the flop having checked, as played.
