I think for most part folks here are suggesting similar things:
- bet more preflop
- bet flop as you are likely ahead
- bet turn and evaluate if raised
- bet river and reevaluate if raised
.50/1 is a great game when starting out and often can be as profitable as 1/2 with less risk of running into really good opponents as most folks are recs out to drink a beer and socialize
