Yeah well in poker we play against ranges so plug those into an equity calculator and see how good your JJ looks.

So I am a slight favorite against his AK but am a big underdog in pretty much any other hand he has?

Nit has JJ+/AK when he 3bets, readless V2 has probably KK/AA when he 4bet/ships 170bb+ over the nit. JJ does terrible against those ranges. I fold QQ in this scenario and tank with KK.

If everyone ain't short then I actually don't mind the smallish raise in EP with JJ as it is mostly going to be a pot builder for setmining although we'll often have a big enough / playable SPR where we can play postflop poker without one as well (I limp JJ in EP with smaller stacks for many of the same reasons).

Trivial fold to the nit 3bet alone as we'll only be getting 10:1 setmining odds OOP. Becomes even more trivial when someone decides to go over top of a nit's 3bet.

Last session out, I limp/folded JJ to a single large preflop raise OOP to a nit, so if I'm doing that I'm definitely not sweating decisions facing 3bets (let alone cold 4bets).

Knowing how gg plays, limp is probably bad, the fold is probably good.

Not that I want to ignore GG... far from it...
