I think pre is fine. I think the flop and turn lines are too passive.

I think taking the initiative on the flop and turn would have given you a chance to avoid the river.

I would have either bet about 40-60 on flop, checked turn if called, and evaluate on river.

Another option that I like if I would have checked the flop like you is to check raise either flop or turn. You want to narrow the V's range and by playing this passive line you leave his range wide open which allows his bused flush draws to continue, but you dont know if he has a 5, any Ax.

AP I prob make a crying call on the river, but I wouldnt be surprised to see a busted Ax flush draw or even a A10 get there.

I don't really think villain is going to continue bluffing on the ace river here too often, even though it ultimately shouldn't change a ton, it could hit your passively played axdd/cc, which you have somewhat more of possibly than villain. I think a fold is ok, I think calling would be better on most other rivers. V does have both a lot of bluffs and a lot of value here.

I think flop is pretty necessary to bet with jj, so many turn cards that are no fun. Better checks to keep your x/c range are actually aa/kk at some frequency. I wouldn't hate a x/r if v is likely to stab.

I'm thinking either donk lead flop or turn. Possible check raise on flop. Either way, as played, put her in the muck.

Question, reasons on checking the flop?

Odd hand. Going to concur that you should be value betting the flop and turn. Plenty of draws can call, as well as JTs, ATs, 99 and miscellaneous BS. Plus, if he does happen to have 89 or JT, it could be a really nice cooler in your favor 350bb deep.

AP, as V I would expect you to have AK and AQ a lot after 3! pre and then getting passive on this board and calling small bets. It would also make a certain amount of sense for you to have AT or TT here. So my motivation for bombing an ace on the river will be to get paid when I have a better hand.

What is he targeting with a bluff here? You SHOULDN'T have JJ-KK. When he has a T, the overwhelming majority of players will want a showdown, and I think correctly so.

If he is bluffing with a busted draw, he chose a bad spot. You really don't need to call with JJ. He could have TT, AT, 77, A5s, 65s.

A lot of you mention my flop check, and the reason for that is that I’ve been doing some solver work recently, and solvers are working in a lot of checks when you’re the PFR oop. Just something i’m trying to work into my game. However, in this spot I should probably still be betting anyway..
