JJ on the button, 1/2 NLHE

Sitting with ~$200. V has similar stack. Game has been very friendly with lots of limpers. I'm trying to start playing a bit looser with my pre flop raises to play more HU in position pots and wake up with JhJd on the button with 4 limps in front of me.

Hero: Raise to $15
SM: Fold
BB: Call

Everyone else folds, HU to the flop (pot ~$40).

Flop: kc6c8s

BB: Bets $10
Hero: Calls
Pot ~$60

Turn: 4d

BB: Bets $15
Hero: Calls
Pot ~$90

River: Th

BB: Bets $20
Hero: ???

V has been playing pretty straight up except for bet sizing and I put her on a K maybe, an A, or possibly betting with a missed flush... How is my play? What would you change and would you make the call?

Thanks! HNY everyone!!

Any reads on villain? I would raise donk bet, then have the option of checking turn, and calling river or betting for thin value.

As played call or raise river to 50 for value.

Fine pre and on the flop. I'd raise-fold the turn. Villain makes a weak bet that gives draws good value. Raising gets more value from draws. If he calls and checks the river, you can bluff A, 7, 5, and clubs. You can check back other rivers.

I would expect a bigger raise preflop get get heads up after 4 limps but the sizing really varies from table to table and it works so that looks OK.

In abstract raising flop to $35 and giving up if villain doesn't fold looks good. But there are enough villains that is wrong against that it's marginal. This really needs more information about villain. Knowing what they donk, what their sizing means and how they respond to your action are critical.

I would probably raise or fold at some point before river depending on villain's play style. On river getting over 4-1 I'm not folding without a better read on villain but I expect this to be break even.

Lol these hands are so annoying when you get donked into small on every street. Usually a weak king but Vs that do this often have no clue so I usually spite call and lose

Preflop: Good.

Flop: Good.

Turn: Raise to $55ish.

After two small bets your opponent is signaling weakness and by calling on the flop you are mimicking a slowplay. She might have something like TT or A8 that you would prefer to call down against if you could see her cards, but there's enough of a chance that she's on a weak K that it's worth blasting her off it with a raise.

Just my opinion...

Imo well played. As a result you got to showdown with midstrong hand for reasonable price, it is OK.
I agree that we should have raising range otf or ott but JJ is not great for that purpose.

I see the merits of calling flop and raising turn, perhaps I'm to agro in these scenarios.
