Playing 1/2
So villain has 40bb when I sit down at the table and we see him. In two orbits we see him play these two particular hands.
Aggressive player bets Utg 10
Table is very passive limpy 3 callers
Gets to villain who jams 80 and everyone folds
2 hands later 6 limpers to a flop (villian limped middle position)
Flop 4
5
8
First to act bet 6
3 callers
Villain jams again was now about 100 into a 35 or so pot and everyone folds
Now for the hand in question:
Folds to villain in HJ ,who is about 70bb ,we have him covered. He bets 10.
Folds to hero on the button who looks down @ JJ
Normally my line is to make it 30 to help assess the villains range. Do we think this is a good play. With the way villain has played previous hands. I'm concerned about a light 4 bet, although this is the first time we've seen him be the initial better so his range isn't weak.
I do decide to three bet to 30 and he jams 140.
