3bet pre to $35 to $40 or just flat pre. Yes flatting is ok pre here. 3betting to $50 or more leaves way too little room and you're forced to check fold a lot or get it in with two overs post flop a lot against two villains. As played on flop, i'd check fold especially with a flush draw out there. Its too likely either villain has KJ+ here and arent folding

I don't play $1/2, but when I did, I would sit there all day and watch the old-reg-nits clean up. And they still do. I still see them playing $1/2, and making more money at those tables than many at $2/5. They just don't want to play $2/5. They are nits with no gamble. But that is fine for live $1/2.

At $1/2 live, old-reg-nits take the money f do.

If I was coaching a $1/2 player I would probably tell them:

"Just x/f here. Just keep showing up with the best hand at live $1/2 and you will win. You want to beat $1/2 and move up to $2/5? Easy, just keep showing down the best hand. Don't bluff or hero-call.

Look it's $1/2 live. Just x/f. If you shove, sometimes they call with ATo. Sometimes they call with 77. Live $1/2 is that beatable. To beat $1/2 just keep showing up with the best hand."
this post is beyond ridiculous. yes nits are often profitable at $1/2 because people are bad enough to pay them off. but they are only small winners at best. Can you turn a profit never bluffing at $1/2 and only value betting the nuts? yes, that is exactly what nits do. but you can also bluff sometimes at $1/2 in the right spots and thin value bet a lot of hands and make a lot more money. It takes a great post flop game and knowing your villains. If you're not at that level, its ok to admit it. but to say nits are the top winners at all $1/2 tables is ridiculous on so many levels.
