Re: I want to call

what. 4 limps and you only make it $15? And you do it with T8o.

You're trolling or really bad. Both of them are fixable.

Why wouldn't we want a target on our back? Ie dude tells me he cant wait to bust me yesterday. I'm on BU, 4 limps to me, I open to 15 T8o, folds to V who limped utg and now min raises to 30 with 470 behind. All fold I call. Flop T82r, V leads 60, I raise 125, V calls. Turn blank, V checks I ship V snaps with AA.

Now I don't expect that guy to fold that hand in that spot vs anyone; but I do expect to be snapped off on scarier coordinated boards, like T98 two tone and a 6 ott.
That hand shows benefits of being Lag, which is fun side.

Now post some hands where, you raise 15, flop Top pair, get jammed on call it off, only to see slow played KK.

It is double edge sword. When your hitting 2 pair and TPTK. Life is great.

When you go 2 hours without flopping a pair. Your stuck 300BB.

80% is way to high. To be profitable.

Flop (45) 763r

V checks, Hero leads 45, BU fold, V calls

Turn (135) 2h, heart draw

V checks, Hero bets 115, V ships 180, Hero calls.

This is true. Though I wonder whether picking up uncontested mw pots otf + getting paid on monsters and esp at stack depths that are terrible for V to be stacking off,as in yesterday:

ES 980 @ 1/3

V limps utg+1, Hero opens AsAh 25, one call in LP, folds to V flats.

Flop (75) Qs Ts 2s

V checks, Hero leads 75, V tank calls

Turn (225) 8d

V checks, Hero leads 215, V tank calls.

River (655) 3s

V checks, Hero ships 585, V flats in tempo with black KK.

I open 5x in LP regardless, and esp over 4 limpers, if not a value hand, which I'd obv push harder (10-12x). Why thin the field when T8 equity improves the greater the multiway action?

Laughable brag post. Predictable outcome. OP never posts the 7/8 times he calls this off and loses.

Re: I want to call

Pre bad. Flop bad.

Just curious, you have Js? Right? Is AsQs on board?

If all true, I'd like to see you jam river as bluff.

Being lag is find good spots to bluff not thinking about calling down with 5th pair.

Keep playing your 80 vpip game and let me know when you broke

Well, we all know op. He's good for 1k a night and 3 to 5k a month at 1/2 and 1/3. We're just tapping the glass.

Re: I want to call

So you have now posted 4 hands hands in thread.

J3 you played like donkey. Calling pre is just putrid.

10-8 hand, you have position and a plan at least. I would still prefer to fold, or possible limp. Raising 10-8s, I can get behind. Plus villain makes huge 3bet sizing mistake, which then gives you auto call

Other 2 hands you have premium hands. And are strickly coolers.
But because we push thin edges and use aggresion to pick up pots. We are going to win/lose max alot.

Re: I want to call

So think about your preflop range. If you tighten it up from EP (10%) and MP (20% range).

And go nuts on HJ, Co, BU,....You can still maintain your wild image. While playing with strong hands OOP.

You are way more likely to get trapped OOP. And playing Lag, you spend half your hands avoiding traps, while still being aggro.

Other big tip.

Play with flop sizing. It doesn't take pot size bets to get folds. Even with wild image. And every dollar you can save with your naked c-bets, is a dollar added into your WR

Good luck, and for your sake. Start folding J-3

Re: I want to call

At lower levels, Noone will realize you are playing loose from LP and tight from EP.

They just remember you raised to $12 with Q-8 of hearts

And that you, seem to play everypot

Re: I want to call

Yawn.

H1 bet call bet call bet call - Win hero bluff catching with trips
H2 bet call bet shove call - Lost with an OP to the board vs short stack
H3 bet call bet call bet call - Win with an OP to the board in a fantasy land HH

There's a monumental difference between having to make hands with weak ranges played passively and not having to make hands with sound ranges played aggressively.

+1000. I often have a 'lag' image because I open with top 30%+ in LP. No one notices I'm super tight in EP and often get called ridiculously light. Fools.
