I know, this is a bad call, but when isn't it? I know, this is a bad call, but when isn't it?

1/3 Live, B&M, Milwaukee, Poto. 8 Handed, 4-5 regs, it's about 6AM and everyone has been playing all night.

CO is known to be a solid player, but he plays a lot of 2-5 and can be a bit loose/agg in the late-nite 1-3 games when 2-5 starts to break. Apparently he's been playing at this table long enough to build up about a 1K stack. (max buy in $300). Villain has the table covered with about 1050 in chips.

8-Handed, Straddle to 6 ON.
I open UTG(S) to 22 with 88
MP1 Flat
MP2 Fold
CO 3-Bet to 90
Villain 4-Bet to 200
Folds around
CO rips it in for 965 total
Villain Call

The question I am directly asking is, when the CO 5-bet jams this preflop, and the button nearly snap calls, how wide does button have to perceive is to call profitably? I tried to do this on a solver, but can't seem to get a preflop solver to perform without a purchase, so I decided to post here. Thanks 2+2,

Love you long-time!

CO MUCKS

It was a suckout as the Tens flopped a set. If CO is sometimes doing this with AKs and AQs or worse, at what point can Villain call here?

Hi. In the future don't use people's names in your HH unless it is a famous person to the general public. If you are playing against DNegs, it is fine. A person who is just known in your room is not.

As for your question, you don't need a "solver." It is a pure math and equity problem. Based on the pot, you need about 40% equity to call. If the villain is jamming QQ+, AK, you need QQ. QQ+, AKs, you need KK.
