$1-$2 NL Cash Game

Players:
Every hand is easier when you have reads.
Unfortunately this is my first orbit, and I do not know these players.

Five players limp.
Hero in the CO with A 5 and limps

SB limps - BB raises to 20 (380 behind) - Four Folds - HJ calls (310 behind) - I call (380 behind)
3 players
Pot = $70

Flop: K 2 2
BB leads $60 (320 behind) - HJ calls (250 behind) - I call
3 players
Pot = $250

Can I call this despite the board being paired?
If they have any Pocket Pair, some of my outs are dirty.
If BB has KK, I'm already drawing dead.

Turn: 4
BB leads $100 (220 behind) - HJ calls (150 behind) - I call
3 players
Pot = $550

I added a Gut Shot to my draw.
But it all might be worthless.
Do I need to keep going?

River: A
BB checks (220 behind) - HJ checks (150 behind) - Hero ??

I miss my draws, but two pieces of good news just hit.
I caught a piece, and both opponents are acting scared of that piece.
Is this a spot I can actually value bet??
Or should I be happy checking this down?

Please advise.

Not all paired two toned flops are created equal.

On K22, it’s way less likely that someone has trips just because even fish aren’t playing a lot of 2x. Compare to JJT where Jx is a common hand that features in people’s cold-calling ranges.

Obviously with the flush draw, you can have a lot of RIO against trips (your draw comes in and it’s obvious, while you’re unsure whether or not they’re full). But the board presented, we should feel more comfortable peeling. Especially if it’s an A hi draw (as against made hands, our A is usually live too)

Do you bet the passive river?
