If villain thinks your loose enough that playing AK to a 4 bet is good he should shove. Flatting with a trivial stack behind is terrible.
If SPR will be < 3 on the flop AK should be folding or shoving. After that it's too situational. Order of action, position, stack sizes, ranges all matter. Folding AK to a 4 bet is usually the right move and in a passive game folding to a 3 bet can be better then calling or raising.
