I was playing in a home game for the first time that was very deep (unlimited buy-in and $300 was usually the smallest anyone topped up for, and several for $500 to $1K). We were seeing opens to $25-$55 and often multiple callers pre-flop and the villain in this hand specifically had recently called a multi-way all-in on the flop for $350 (against a $500 pot) with K10hh on a J88hhx board after saying "**** it, it's only money."

I had grinded solid and tight, and chipped up about $160 to $360 before start of the hand. Showed down AA once after shipping pre over 6 callers at $20. Then won a couple other small pots, but mostly quiet.

I am dealt 77 in EP. Two limps in front of me, I limp and someone raises to 15 behind. Everyone calls including the Villain who is on my left.

Pre
Hero: 77 in UTG+2

Flop (Pot: $90) 10s9s7h
checks from SB to Villain on my left who bets $25
fold, fold, call from SB, fold, fold, fold...
Hero raises to $125 (sizing?)
Villain asks how much I have behind, by now I had about $190 left... and she says all-in.
SB folds.

I assume she can do this with ALL draws including many random 8s given her stack is around 1200 and I've seen her tossing money around beyond just the $350 with all sorts of garbage. I don't feel 99 or 1010 is too likely as she would have raised those pre, but 109/107/97 are all in her limp/call range.

I fairly quickly call and get shown 68o... brick out and as I had an online session today decide not to re-up, but return next week.

But as I hardly play live poker anymore... I just want to be sure that this is a trivial call and I should just chalk it up to unfortunate she had it this time or is there a subtle difference in the way the betting went here that I could find a fold even with a hand as strong as bottom set?

Never ever considering folding.

Yes, it's a trivial call.

Sounds standard to me AP. If I counted correctly the pot will be $745 after the SB call ($25) and your call ($190). Given it's only $190 to call you're getting better than 3.9 to 1 (better than 20%) so you're correct to draw even if you can see Vs hand (and since this V never has 99 or TT here). And that's worst case scenario as you're usually already ahead. I would have led this flop however as there are very few good turn cards unless we are sure there will be a bet behind us. And your game description implies all or most of the draws are calling or raising. At any rate given the holdings, stacks are still likely to go in regardless of your line. Only J8 and 86 beat us here in a raised pot against a LAG spewy villain with these odds there is no fold button IMO.

Great! Thanks guys. I felt a little dumb posting it because I knew I was being results oriented in my worrying if I should be getting it in here.

I play exclusively online MTTs for years now, but I am going to be playing in this game 3-4 times a month now and just annoyed the money was flowing all over that table and I ended up in the spot where she actually had something. Good to know I shouldn't have second guessed myself here and I will try to post more interesting hands in the future as I play more.

Thanks again!
