A-high flush on double paired board A-high flush on double paired board

1/3 Aria

Hero (CO) ($550)
Villain (MP) ($400)
Villain seems to play LAG but not much of a read as I am new to the table.

Villain limps. Player to their left limps. Hero limps with A 4 folds to BB who checks

Flop ($13):
8
7
8

checks to Hero. Hero checks. BB checks.

Turn ($13):
Q

checks to Hero. Hero bets $15. other players fold. Villain calls.

River ($43):
7:

Villain bets $25. Hero?

Line check on the flop check, turn sizing and what to do on the river without much of a read. Thanks for any feedback.

I'm fine with preflop.

I'd probably take a small stab (no more than 1/2 PSB) at the flop when checked to.

I'd probably bet less on the turn. It's no huge deal since the pot is so small, but no one seems interested in this pot so we're just really looking to eke out something against someone who thinks we're trying to steal it.

For this price and against a laggy opponent I'm probably cry calling. He could be bluffing, he could be value betting worse.

Agree with GG above. As played, calling the $25 on 2nd nut worst river.

Thanks a lot. I did call because agree with GG, its a nice bluff spot for him and lower flushes or overpairs/Qx could bet here. He turned over K7 for the FH.
