Winning players raise premium hands because they stand to be best. They raise draws because they are helped by the fold equity and can win a big pot when they hit. And if he's a winning player he WILL call with AJ pre.

A winning player sitting UTG+1 does NOT call an UTG raise with AJ. Its a 3 bet or fold. Mostly a fold.

Please stop dealing in absolutes. There are a lot of different player types, and more ways leading to Rome. Statements like this don't contribute anything.

Calling an UTG raise from UTG+1 with AJ is just about always terrible no matter who UTG is. 3 betting certain UTG players is fine.

I was playing a hand last night in BB. The pot was opened and three players were in before it got to me holding 99. A couple of them were players I was avoiding, so I mucked the 9's. Tight fold. Flop xx9. I said to myself, "You are playing too tight." I'm not doing it repeatedly, but I have to be ready to lose my entire stack on any hand. Make the best play, accept the results. A lot of the money I win is with air.

In EP with QQ, I open higher. I bet more on the coordinated flop w/3players in the hand.

I commented on the sizing pre and post which impacts the hand imo. I would assume a mixed strat is ideal, especially with a good reg involved. I wouldn’t make a habit of it but I think you can check Q
