Played a 1/2 game, people don't get out of line very often with crazy bluffs. Ranges are wide, people play alot of offsuit connectors, or any offsuit Ace.

I start this hand with 170$. UTG limps, MP raises to 14, I call with AJs in the small blind, limper calls.

Pot 45.
Flop A45 w/1 Spade. Action checks through.

Turn Qs.

I bet 15, UTG raises to 45, MP folds. I call.

Pot 135.
River 8c.

He bets 80.

This player is known for being nitty, only showing up with very premium hands, rarely marginal hands. I decided to fold, based on his image and the way I imagine he'd play a set or a straight (2,3/6,7).

Fold pre if he really is that big of a nit. We're not that deep here and we're OOP.

Given that he limped, don't you think It's worthwhile seeing a flop with AJs?
I don't recall seeing the old limp-3bet line from him ever (2nd-3rd session with this player).

You can just 3b mp pre. Think about how easy you’re making it for the limper when you call. Easy for MP as well.
