General limp calling discussion General limp calling discussion

Hey guys, I've been trying to patch some live leaks and figure I'm losing quite a bit on limp calling. Generally in EP I'm only first in with a limp with something like 22-88 and sometimes speculative suited aces. In MP if there are some limpers behind, I'll come along with SC's or S1G'S. Anyways, I feel like at 1/3 stakes it's not uncommon to see a raise for anywhere from 6-10 BB's. Suddenly limp calling with pocket 4's doesn't seem very profitable. I was wondering if you guys had any rules or guidelines for limp calling pre at LLSNL. And what your general limp calling range is. Thanks in advance guys!

Raise some of your suited As (AT+ and A2-A5), throw the rest away. Raise 55-88, I would toss 22-44 IF the raises are generally enough to make set mining odds too slim. Generally not limping anything from EP.

Like everything else in poker, it depends. Therefore, I'm locking this thread.

If you have a specific hand you'd like to discuss, feel free to post it.
