Here's a quick one

2/5 500 EFF

We open 8h6h in CO get called by btn.

Btn is not super station.

Flop comes Jh9h4c

We bet 30 into 40.

Is it reasonable to assume most villains will fold 9x or do we think it is common that 9x will call here?

Common to get called by 9x here. They're not even wrong to do it, you have a lot A-high hands that missed and are c-betting, and V has position.

I would fold 9x here almost never on the flop.

For a number of reasons.
We often have the best hand. We have position.
We often have a bdsd (Q9, T9, 98, 97).
And we often have the best hand.

I would consider calling with 4x here depending on my reads on you. (How easily you give up on ugly turns, if you are going to pay me off if I bink the turn, what your opening range / cBet frequency is, etc.)
