Hero (covers) is new to table, played 2 orbits. Got stacked on 378J8 with 33 vs JJ (didnt show). And stacked a guy some hands after with KJ on AQT3J.

V1 - EP (130$). Plays a lot of hands pre. Passive.

V2 - Button (275$). Didnt seen him played one hand yet. Asian and seems ok.

Anyway.

H open 5Fold bottom set in 7 way pot5Fold bottom set in 7 way pot EP to 12 after one limper and gets 6 callers_lol

200 to win 720.
Needs 28%
I think V1 can be ignored since V2 is way stronger...
Against 68s, 99 and 77 I have 16%
If I add 97s I have 27%...

You think their only hands are 68s/99/77/97s?

You didnt say what the stakes are but whether its 1/2 or 1/3, nobody will ever convince me that you can raise 55 in EP and make a profit.

Now that you did it, this is a very easy call.

Its a 1-2, 250 max buy in.

What pair do you open by default in EP. I know it depends on the table, but by default.

I always open 22+ in EP, but I will try to open only 88+ in EP.

By default? Meaning just about always? TT+

There are lots of different winning styles of poker, but I honestly dont think its possible to open pps that low in EP profitably. Its possible that Im wrong of course.....but if you do open pps that low and you flop a set, and your money doesnt go in, dont ever raise 55 again.

Don't fold sets on the flop for 130bb ever and you'll probably do just fine, especially when you're the PFR and they dont' expect you to have a set.

You can add A6h A8h and A9h to your list as well as 1010 and JJ as well as some other randoms.

You raised EP with 55, hit a set and got action. Easy call.

Given the board texture there is lots of random draws in there
Pair+GS
Pair +flush draws
2 pairs
Overpairs
Flush draw + GS
Are all hands people could be shoving here
While I am not lovong the shoves I am sigh calling this pretty much always unless some supernit jams

With 6 people left to act I would strongly consider a checkraise here. As played call.

Never folding a set here on such a wet board

Snap calling. I expect to see random draws here very often, at least enough to make up for the cases where I'm set-over-set.

Also, V1 is apparently a terrible player. He doesn't 3-bet KK? Letting that flop go 6 ways was lighting money on fire for him.
