Line checking, is min raising on a flush draw board with a K on the board a profitable play ?

$1/$1 10 handed.

$300 villain maniac on tilt raises 80% preflop after losing a big pot. Table Captain at the moment

$200 hero image, tightest player with agro after flop. seldom bluff and always got good strong kickers at showdown.

Villain mp raises $15. Co called hero button called with 9 10 diamonds.

Flop 3♦️4♦️K♠️ pot $47.
Villain bets $32. Hero tanks and min raises. Villain tanks then fold.

1. Is it a good line here to min raise (pay the minimum) here to rep a Strong K then to get to see 2 free cards to hope to hit the flush? Or should I raise larger to avoid fishy ness ?

2. If I check turn when diamond don't hit would it be obvious that I am chasing flush ?

Thanks
Mandy

I like it. This works for you because it appears you have tight image, rarely bluff & have great kickers, & a min-raise is inviting a call. So, when he's attempting to buy the pot, as he did here, you take it down.

Any min-raise at low limits is seen as 'very strong', especially from the tighter players.

In a spot like this you are basically trying to get the AdXx to pay more to draw ... as you should. The 'bad' thing is that if they don't have the Ad, then they will put you on AdKx at worst before moving forward.

When I look at a min-raise, You are almost always offering a great price for the opponent to continue while giving away your hand (at least in theory) strength. So you really shouldn't be doing this unless you are willing to take the hand much further, since all you are really doing is bloating the pot.

If you are playing against regs, the min-raise is the ultimate mind game bet ... use it as you may, but I don't use it much ... and probably should use it more since I do play in games with regs most of the time. GL

I do like a raise, but I'm not thrilled with the min-raise. I usually just make normal-size raises, but I never min-raise.

Checking the turn might make you look scared of diamond, so if you think he will bet, go for it. Otherwise, just lead turn, but not too big (looking scared again).

I rarely min raise but I will small raise. So if he bet 32, I might make it 70-75. I somehow think it looks less fishy and strong than a min raise but I'm probably wrong.
I was thinking you could flat this board and then bet or raise turn if a diamond does not hit bc the delayed raise will look a lot like AK to some thinking players but as I think about the play and typical Vs, I like raising flop with your image. It looks like a K, and you take down the pot with no pair, always a great result.
Also, OTT, you can def continue if a non diamond hits. If you pick up a pair or a low card hits, you can def bet again. I'd probably only check back a Broadway card on the turn.
