I think I played this very wrong and stupid....

1-2 Spread limit Holdem (Max 100 per street).

V1 UTG +1, Tight player. Doesn't play many hands and when he got involved he showed down monsters. Has 500 in front.

Hero Sitting in middle position with 500 in front

V2 Dealer position, very loose Asian youth. 200 in front.

OTTH

V1 bets 15 pre flop.

Hero looks down to see 77 and calls

V2 calls.

Flop is Q-7-2 rainbow.

V1 bets out $50.00

Hero raises to 100 cap.

V2 folds.

V1 hesitates and says "you slow playing aces?" and folds.

I messed up by raising right?

Yeah, I'd just flat. This is a textbook dry flop. We don't have many value hands, and have even less bluffs. I mean, you have the the $100 spread protecting you a bit, in that V1 will be getting the best odds possible to continue, but we make so much more having V1 think he's still good OTT and hopefully dragging BTN along.

Also, I really hope you told UTG1 it was kings this time.

I really don't mind the raise though I'd prefer flatting.

If possible we'd like to keep V2 in the hand as well and we're not really scared of anything.

There are a few bad cards that could come but none that should be too scary.

Pretty sure V1 would call if he had the Q, he probably just didn't hit anything.
If he's folding a Q there, just start bluffing him non-stop.

I told him I had ace -queen as well. I teased him a bit for being a nit. The more I played with him the more nittyness He showed.

And I agree I was stupid here. Didn’t play the player. He was one of the few players at the table that was tight.

I’m 95% sure he had ace queen.

Two ways to look at this, I think.

One, as others have said, you can just call here and let him keep betting (or take over the betting when he stops).

Two, if you want to raise here, you need to realize that the fact he folded after betting this much means this kind of situation is a GREAT bluff spot for future hands.

If you are unwilling to bluff-raise this guy in other hands then you cannot raise here.
