1/2 NL Live Cash game, full table
Hero with 6c7s at CO has tag image and have $160 behind
All table call blinds and than BB raised to $15. He plays as tag with $300 behind
UTG, the villain calls $15, plays as LAG with $350 behind Everybody fold and Hero decided to call in position Pot is around $55
Flop: 5s8s4c Hero flopped straight
BB bet $18, UTG calls $18 (Pot $90) To prevent opponents from chasing flash draw board I moved All In for $145 total. (with one card blocker to flash)
BB calls without hesitation. UTG thinks for 2 min and calls too.
Turn: 9 spade BB checked, UTG moved all in, BB called for side pot
River: Q hearts
The villain UTG shows flash 2,4 suited spades, BB mucked his hand
Should I just call $18 post flop and fold if flash card is coming on the turn or river?
What could be done more correctly?
Obvious yes, pre-flop fold, but TAG at BB was very predictable and UTG was too loose. I didn't have one decent hand for an hour. So I was looking particularly for this two players.
Preflop you should have folded to the raise. You are not deep enough to be playing a low unsuited connector.
Once you see the flop it's just a cooler. The only reason to flat the flop would be fear that villains would fold their draws on the flop if you raise too much.
Overlimp preflop is somehow fine (actually pretty close with your stack size, but live cashgame could be good to overlimp here), but after BB isoraises that´s a snap fold.
On the flop get it in, you have the nuts, and you want protect your hand. If you just call and turn is a spade, action can be slowed down. Just bad run out.
