passive, limpy 1/3 table,

hero HJ limp/call with 78 where passive donk raise to 7$ otb.

6 ways (hero 4th to act) to a flop of 369 that checked to hero

pot $42, hero has ~$200, btn has ~$35, others vary and let's just assume they all have hero covered.

Let's say if we knew btn has a big pair (it was obvious judging from his past play, and he did turn out QQ in the end), what's the most EV+ move here?

1. What's the best way to get other passive limpers to put money into the pot? 2. Do we want to squeeze them out if they did, if so how and when?

I'm fine with preflop.

It's actually not obvious to me that Button has a big pair, as typically big pairs don't raise to a lol amount of $7 after eleventeen limpers.

However, if we are convinced that Button will bet (the only bet size being a shove given he has less than a PSB left), then I would check/shove. This allows some weak calls to put a huge amount of dead money into the pot (relative to our small stack size) and then we can shove with our huge draw (where we should have huge hand equity and FE).

Regarding "do we want to squeeze them out", we basically want our opponents to make the biggest mistake possible. So on our check/shove plan, we probably do want our opponents to all fold (because they most likely have hands that have enough equity to make calling correct), but even if we get a caller or two we'll still have a +EV move on our hands (as long as our flush draw isn't dominated / we run into a monster).

Bet enough to put the button all in. Having this check through would be awful and since he's on a short stack he can't raise and blow the limpers out of the pot. You are ahead of his calling range so even if he is the only caller that is fine. Dont worry about the other people. If they don't call your $35 bet they wouldn't have calles the buttons $35 bet.

AP, hero bet $15, and called btn's shove with no other players involved.

Felt could've extracted more value from other players but not sure how

Nah. Button is either shoving or checking there. I think it's better to bet at least the button's stack so it's not a raise. That way even though it's the same money back to the limpers, it feels like a better call because they are only calling one bet, not a bet and raise. At least that's what I'm banking on.
