Ok - for those of you who have read my past posts today this is the same 1/2 table.

Villain 1 new to table, 40 something white dude - just sat down so no reads.
Villain 2 was playing for a while. I had busted him once when he called off on turn and river with AQ after i check called QJ2 flop turned 9 and potted turn and shoved river. He had since built back up, mostly at my expense and in general was playing bad LAG (kind of like I was at this point).
Villain 3 on button. Have played with him before. Usually a fairly good TAG player. 3 bets more than most 1/2 players. Not a ton of info other than I think he is a competent thinking player.

Villain 2
UTG makes it 13 gets 3 calls including V1 and V2 from EP and V3 from button. Hero calls, BB folds.

Table playing very loose passive. Hero is in SB with 8c8h. Stack size ~ 700.

Pot 67

Flop Kc8s6c

Hero leads for 35 V1 and V2 call, V3 ships 120 from button.

Are we raising or flatting and why. Obviously I know this is a super wet board and there is a lot in the pot already, but I am wondering if anyone flats hoping to just play a massive pot.

is this the same table where you c/c c/shoved pair+gutter?
raise to 250 and shove all turns; your image is down which is great in that situation, but image still is only a small part of the game. even if villains suspect your FOS and on a fd, that doesn´t mean they would stack off in this situation with KQ because it still is a lot of money...
raise, let them feel commited on a blank turn and shove imo.

I wouldn't call this a super wet board.. maybe just moist

Go ahead and raise here - build a massive pot by giving people the wrong odds to call with draws.

Actually different table. I am probably playing just as bad though...just running a bit better.

What are villain's stack sizes here? Mostly though I'm just reshipping here. If you flat your giving V2 and V3 odds to chase one card to a flush, which is obviously bad. Anything you do look very strong, AK at least, so nothing less then a strong draw or two pair can call. Plus 1/2 villains often stick around for these draws even when they are not getting the odds, so might as well make them as bad as possible. If one of the villain is over $400 I might go with a raise to $250/$300 and shove turn.

+1 to this.

Also QuadJ's perspective has clear value. Stack sizes matter, but for the most part $1/$2 players seem to never fold because "they had a draw." So make them make the biggest mistake and ship it here. Hello variance train, but this is the type of things you beg for, don't allow anyone to draw cheaply.

Generally speaking, you flopped a set, if you win, you are supposed to win big. If you lose, you're going to lose big or you're doing it wrong IMO.

(and yes, there are cases to fold sets, however this is not one of them)

Folding never crossed my mind. Don't think the button flatted KK with all of those people in the pot.

My question, (probably absurd) was does anyone ever flat to try to keep the others in. The deepest other guy only had like 250 left which means (1) raising and shipping, in this case, because of stack sizes is the same, and (2) if I flat, he and maybe the other villain flat and I win a monster pot. If I do this, I do it with the intention of shoving every single turn, it is just a matter of whether I want the others to come along.

I think the answer is no. Thought it then, think it now...but I considered it and was just curious if anyone else would even consider it.

Ez peazy raise here, don't get all fancy and flat. Since the deepest guy only had $250 left go ahead and ship it.

Flatting a very low % of the time I get in these situations. I think Flatting here is FPS, but in some instances can net you a huge pot when they overcall the shove.
