however in live poker, u can up your frequency since you see so little hands vs the same opponents which usually means taking a hand like 44 and pretending its A5s - however there are specific requirements for this to be ideal.

If my table is a little nittier, I think advocating 3betting 4s here is fine - I shouldve added that this is 100% predicated on how the table plays.

I think you need to be willing to also fire some flops however I'm giving up and probably never dbl or triple barrelling here and I would say most players should just stop bluffing if the 3bet doesnt take it down if they dont feel comfortable enough post flop.

You're not necessarily looking to flop an A and go crazy in those situations, you're using the A for removal - the suitedness for equity to barrel and the low A5 for wheel draw.

When you pair your A w/ the A5 in a 3bet pot its more often better to consider that as SDV and/or bluff catch sometimes vs the right opponents.

In live poker you can play quite unbalanced in spots and nobody will ever be the wiser. This is especially useful in spots where the general population is unbalanced towards having certain hands. As a simple example, if a preflop limp/reraise is only ever Aces by the general population then you could incorporate limp/reraises into your game but could do so without ever including Aces in your range. The other players will never know that you are unbalanced towards weak hands. In fact, they will assume you are unbalanced towards having Aces.

If you start playing with people on a daily basis or if they start seeing your hands then you will want to change it up but that still doesn't mean you have to be perfectly balanced. You could just start being unbalanced the opposite way based on villains' perceptions of your range in spots.
Yeah you're right. So often I see people leading and they are literally never bluffing though. So anyone who leads just when they hit is really transparent to me. But I'm paying more attention than most and remember everybody I encounter.

But in practice...being unbalanced is fine particularly if there are no regs in the hand.

Well played, if you check and it checks through, an ace, three diamond, six or 7 all kill your action or give villains best hands.if you go for the check raise and get a bet/call...you have to fade all the above , or you are already behind, lead is best.
Plus I've found that you will be shocked what you can get called by when you donk lead on these low boards and shocked what will fold to a check raise.
