Local 1-2 game
V1 is an old rec. Seems to play basic poker. Plays too many hands as most recs do but he doesn't seem to play out many pots where he doesn't have something. His stack is around 200$ V1 is in the BB
hands starts with me on the Button, there are 3 limps to me and i have 10s6s. This is an open in my button open range and normally I adjust the bottom part of my range depending on the table. The limpers in this game are folding a fair mount to my raises. I raise to 12$ I probably would normally raise more but I figured a smaller 12$ with 3 limps would get the folds a good portion of the time and be investing a bit less when I am called by all 3. Raises on this game are not that large...
They all 3 call including V1 in BB
Flop (around 45$) comes AsJs6s. The best flop I can hope for! As I'm thinking how to play the hand V1 donks 15$, folds to me. I raise to 50$ He snap calls.
Turn is 145$ and is Ao. He checks.... What do I do here. He only has about a pot sized bet left. Obviously not checking here letting a free card come for his nut flush draws. I dont see being up against a stronger flush when he checks.
I want value so its more on the issue of sizing. Do I just shove or size down?

Shove turn. If the monotone flop didnt scare him from leading and calling a raise. Neither did the A. Hes likely checking because he picked up more showdown value. Probably a weak ace rag he decided to limp in with. Theres no real sizing i can think of that he would call whilr also not be willing to get it all in. Any bet commits him. So betting 1/3 pot and going all in are the same thing except you get the added benefeit of getting more value from draws when you get it in before the river.

I messed up the cards. I either had the 7s or something, also put OOP in the title which was wrong as well....I agree preflop was not good in hindsight. I did shove turn and he folded.
