2/5 100-300
9 handed
SB 300 is mawg rec plaeyr, a bit too loose passive preflop, can be aggressive postflop, knows everyone at the table
Utg 750 older euro dude, too loose passive preflop, seems weak tight postflop
Mp2 750 young Asian dude, too loose preflop, chases postflop
Button 250 loose passive Asian dude, can chase postflop, but also makes hero folds
Hero 300 should be seen as tag, shown down only good hands, just lost a pot to mp2 who hit a gutshot on turn
Preflop
Hero is BB with 8s 4s
Utg calls, 2 folds, mp2 calls, 2 folds, button calls, SB completes, hero checks
Flop 7c 6s 5d. (5 players)
Pot 20
SB donks 15, Hero calls, 3 more calls
Turn Qc (5 players)
Pot 95
Looking at SB, he seems to really like his hand
SB bets 70, Hero raises to 140

I hate slowplaying but I think you can flat here because you have 3 more people behind and if they call, that's great.
I probably don't min-raise because everyone sees it as the nuts, so if I raise I think I'd rather just shove.

Line looks good.
Turn is a good raise, we take initiative IP to the river.
My plan is to GII on all non-club rivers. Calling reasonable bets, and checking behind club rivers.

Yeah all looks fine. I would raise flop if there was a FD. If a club came OTR and V checked, I would make a small bet, like 1/3 pot.

I like it. Flatting flop is good. We are behind one hand and we have one of the outs, so not too worried. Getting more money in on turn is perfect. I'm usually no a fan of min-raises, but stack size makes it awkward, so I'm OK with it.

I like making it 40 on the flop.
You have two players in the pot who have shown their willingness to chase. Make them pay for it.
When you flat the flop you're inviting them to draw to better hands very cheaply.
Use your stack size to your advantage by raising flop and trying to get it in on the following streets.
Don't use the excuse, "My hand is too strong to raise." The idea is to make money and your turn raise seems extremely strong.

Why would they chase a OESD in a limped pot facing a battle of the blinds?

Consensus seems to be that I played it right.
Unfortunately it was a cooler: V had 9
8
and I did not catch a lucky chop
