typical loose passive $1/$2 game with a couple nits. villain is only competent player at the table. saw him fold trip aces (A3) face up on A6JA facing a 2/3 pot size bet of $20 from the tightest player in our game.
villain is on my immediate right.

utg limps, 2 more limp
villain ($175) btn, raise to $12
hero QT (covers) SB, calls. i was expecting all 3 limpers to call since very few were folding for anything under $15
to my disgust, everyone folded.

flop ($28)
7 8 9

should we lead this board?
hero checks, plan to c/r but looking back on it now he is never c-betting this board with air

villain bets $15
hero raises to $60, if he flats i am jamming all turns. if he raises obviously getting it in.

is this hand totally standard or did i misplay any street?

fold pre... your hand is garbage oop multiway w/less than 100bb effective stacks

c/r is good after essentially flopping the nuts

You do realize that your a favorite against a range of TT+ in this situation? As played, I kind of like a bet/shove because V will rarely c-bet with air here since this board is extremely wet. The problem with a c/r is that V will check back the flop a large % of the time and thus you are unable to put any money into the pot and this unable to build a pot.

yes, slight favorite vs 2 pair also. mostly wasn't sure about preflop or leading flop but now i'm 100% certain i should have bet flop. just got lucky he bet.
still not sure about pre, appears some have already said fold pre so idk. i thought QTs played well multi-way and expected all 3 limpers to call. meh, that's what i get for thinking.
