Mistake in the title. Game is 2/5/10

Villain is an middle aged man, he has been playing quite snug. Game is deep and very good and a mandatory straddle is on making the game 2/5/10. I believe my perceived image to be someone who is often involved in pots but I've been really playing quite tight. Hero is socializing and involved in small pots so I'm not on nit mode.

Hero is on the straddle and it folds to the villain in CO who makes it 35. Hero has KK and makes it 110 to go. Villain calls.

Hero has 1300 and villain has 1180.

Flop: T4d3d $220
Hero bets 140 and villain calls.

Turn: 8x
Hero checks. Villain bets 240. Hero check raise all in. Standard or should I have continued to barrel? Does check raising here fold out inferior over pairs?

Keep firing on the turn! Checking leads to posts like "should I fold my overpair 118BB deep after I take a weird line that makes villain bet 100% of his range."

AP just call the turn. And not for nothing, I personally feel like 3betting/aggression gets marginally less respect when you are the straddle.
