Not just for the sake of squeezing out another fraction of a bb of EV (the room I played that didn't require new players to post had a rule where, if you would be dealt in UTG, you could wait for the button to pass instead). But I like to watch for at least a hand, and be seated and ready.

Not that you were saying this, but don't be the guy who comes in in the hijack and says he'll wait for the button.

Yeah, not a fun spot. I don't auto-stack off with QQ 100bb deep at 1/2... I don't hate a jam, but it would come down to whether you've seen villain 3bet light before. Not a fun spot.

GII OOP w/ 90 bbs vs. a LAG is pretty standard I think. There can be some merit to flatting with the hopes of GII on the flop though. This has the added benefit of giving the tighter V's the opportunity of 4-betting. (Especially the guy 150bb's deep.) Also, position not such a big deal with an SPR of 1.

We know the main V is a LAG, but how often does he 3-bet? What is his perception of hero. I know it's a squeeze situation, but does he 3-bet an UTG opener with AJ or QJs while short stacked? If no, you may have to fold if an A or K hits the flop. If yes, check/shove(if necessary) flop. Check/shove (if necessary) turn. Shove any river to get value from his lower pairs he is pot-controlling with.

even against a range of AK, KK+ you have enough equity. Throw in some 1010/JJ/random lol spaz and it's snap jam. obv not super fist pumping but cant ever fold.

V is semi-reg, but does he think of you as unknown or not?

Edit, misread how deep btn was. Vs a lag i think stacking off is normally fine unless he knows your ep opening range really well and isnt getting out of line - though even then a lag still always does this with ak.
