1/2 live
V1 200
V2 90 or so.

Villains are typical loose passive 1/2 players.

3 limps hero checks 67o in the bb.

Flop:345 two diamonds.

V2 leads for 8, hero raises to 25, V1 calls, V2 calls.

Pot: 78

Turn Jd completing diamond draw.

V2 checks. Hero??? Hero checks. V1 bets 25, V2 calls, hero??? Calls.

Pot:158.

River: Kc.

V2 jams for about 40, hero??? Raise or call?

I think you're paying off a flush. Sorry.

Fold. You might be ahead of 1 of them, but not both of them. Basic rule: Never go broke on a limped pot. You might not go broke from this pot (don't know you stack size), but you're losing around $100, a significant amount in a 1/2 game.

After 2 calls on the flop I'm trying to get to river cheap after the flush gets there on the turn. I would pay off V2 here if this was heads up. Too much chance he has two pair/set to give up against the short stack. Against 2 give up on the turn unless they are both really bad. Give up on river when V2 moves all in against 2 opponents.

This is one of the annoying situations at 1/2 where terrible villains will sometimes both turn up with worse but it isn't worth paying them off. They won't both turn up with worse often enough.

Ok I ended up just calling which I was worried might be too nitty given the really small turn sizing but you guys seem to agree with a passive line here. Both villain's actually ended up having flopped top two pair. I thought V1's range might be more weighted towards draws since he just called flop and sets will want to get it in.

However, I didn't think villain was betting small to induce, I thought he was betting the strength of his hand since he didn't seem very good but I couldn't be sure.
