I'm winning regular at ps( 10 nl zoom +shots at 25NL)
-what kind of bankroll do I need for 1/2 cash games in Horseshoe casino in Indiana?
-how would you compare games in Horseshoe to Vegas
-what about check in dark , what does my opponent want to accomplish with that play? i don't see any reason to do that beside psychological game; how should I react?

Dark checks are usually weakness, they don't want to seem as weak as having the action on them and checking, so they do it beforehand. If I weren't going to c-bet, the dark check makes me more likely to do it.

My biggest 1/2 downswing was -$2,089 over ~130 hours. But it was after the player pool started adjusting to me and I thought I was so good I didn't need to study. That was a bad combo. So I'd say $2K is enough, although I anticipate most people will say $6K for the 20 buyins.

1. See the bankroll and winrate containment thread.
2. Ask this in the bricks and mortar venue thread for the Horseshoe in Indiana.
3. Assume the player learned how to play by watching TV. You'll almost never see it.
