I don't think you can call the river, however I do think you can raise/shove for ~$215 more.

She should have a ton of missed draws here, but we also know she vbets thin, so she could very well show up w/ 77, 88 or whatever.

basically I think calling is bad because she has a lot of weak pp's, but at the same time she really doesn't have any big hands either other than a few Tx combos.

I think she plays TT + faster, and she probably doesn't raise oesds (KQ,89s,Q9s) because of the pre 3 bet.

I know she hero'd before w/ J8 but that was different, it was an over bet jam on the flop w/ an obvious draw on board. (she also knows you saw this hand take place)

On the river, w/ no more cards to come, our turn check, imo, looks like it was to induce a river bet from an agro player as opposed to weakness once we jam the river.

She might call some of the time w/ KJ types but I think you fold out all pp's 99 and lower, all the A highs that chop, all the missed draws of course, and at least some percentage of the time you fold some Jx's. This is basically her whole range.

I don't buy that she's bet calling QJ 100% of the time, regardless of pot odds. She has to be aware of her own image as well as yours.

With that in mind, a 3bet pre/ healthy flop bet/check turn/jam over a $100 river bet line looks pretty valuey.

Folding is fine, but raising takes it down the vast majority of the time imo.

I agree with you, patch. It's shove or fold, and a shove there takes a lot of heart. Calling never should have been a thought, I should have shoved. Or just been happy with the fold.

Like I mentioned earlier, I avoid spots like this and I hate it but you are correct.

BTW BF disagrees and says she was such a donk she was calling with almost anything.

Really though, Why get in to such messy spots? You can just play very tight in most games and just bet the hell out of your good hands and make a decent profit. So I guess just avoid it all together and we're back to my original thought.

When you are done, don't play a few more hands. JUST GET UP.

She's calling a shove imo, if she views u as a tight player who she felted her bf, ur shove is fh+ or exactly Ace high, and this is why u should widen your value shove range as much as u can imo

Shoving is dumb. You beat this villian by thin value betting/raising not by bluffing.
