Playing 1/2 NLHE
Hero's stack is $88 which is the effective.

There are three limpers pre-flop. Villain is in the SB. Hero checks from the BB with Q

Pot is $8
Flop is Q

Villain bets $15
Hero makes it $35 to go. Others fold. Villain calls making it heads up to turn.

Pot is $78
Turn is T

Villain insta donk leads for $25.

What would you do in hero's spot?

I wouldnt have only $88
I wouldnt raise to $35 on the flop.

Now I have no idea what to do. You only have $50 left so its fold or shove. The T pairing means you'll chop a lot of the time.

It depends on my read of the SB but at 1/2 Im probably jamming.

he bet 2X pot on the flop; we should not be raising

folding is actually an option on the flop or calling if you think he could have worse

we shouldn't go crazy in a limped pot facing a 2x psb

Any info on villain? Is leading for 2x pot something he does often?

In a vacuum I'm just mucking the flop, but I'd call vs some players. It depends whether the 2x pot bet is trying to build a big pot or whether it's because he doesn't want callers.

As played, getting it in OTT, not a lot of other options.

Villain was an 20-30s asian guy wearing a cap backwards. Hadn't played too many hands with him before this. I think I saw him show down a weak ace.

I looked at him for tells. When he saw me looking at him, he glanced away and wouldn't make eye contact.

Later that night, I did see him lead strong onto a flop, with multiple opponents to act, with middle pair.

20s-30s asian guy with backwards cap, hmm. Would call. Sounds like the sort of guy probably fancies himself a player. If it was a MAWG I'm just mucking.
