Game: Live 1/2
Hand: AJhc
Position: CO
Stack: 350$
Vilain: Young girl, decent, I haven’t seen her get out of line so far, too loose preflop & aggressive/tight postflop (She covers me from MP)
Preflop Action: 2 limps, I raise to 15$, 4 calls. (75$)
Flop: AT9ssc
Action: Checked to me, I bet 50$, SB calls (only 35$, he’s all-in, he’s a very weak loose guy), V calls. (210$)
Turn: 5d
Action: V bets 105$, I?
Tough situation since I don't know her well at all, I've only played with her a couple hours and she didn't show many hands in that time.
Looks like a fold to me. The main villain isn't deep enough to play just to beat her but calling would commit you to the hand. Your hand is at the bottom of a value range and it just isn't likely enough your beating both.
Yup, I like it when feedback is in line with what I thought, just wanted to make sure because the way the hand turned out made me wonder if I played it well.
I folded, and the all-in guy won with 87o with high card 8! She didn't shows...Meaning she either had a gutshot, a bad FD or a pure bluff which would be stupid when there is a third player allin... It sure changed the way I saw her lol.
Idk, you were getting 3 to 1 to call and how does a 5d help her that she bets on the turn? Plus, she checked-called the flop, if she had any value there she would have raised in my opinion. I assumed she was chasing draws so I think you should have called.
You're going to fold the best hand sometimes to fish that's just the way it is.
I would fold to the donk/lead as well next time have a good read on her tendencies and this wouldn't have happened lol.
I guess this is one of those times random idiot factor?
In addition v can def be betting with worse hands here like worse Ax
Yup I know I'm doing my best to assess tendencies, but I guess I missed on that one lol. And yea my casino 1/2 is really weak (since the rake is capped at 9$+tip), so this random idiot factor comes up often!
This is probably a blocking bet. It's a little large; usually they'll bet less than 1/2 pot. Learn when to shove over these and increase your bb/hour. NLHT&P, p. 135 et. seq.
I'm not sure she's good enough to make such a sophisticated play at 1/2, but I'd like to read what you are proposing me but I'm sure what ''NLHT&P, p. 135 et. seq.'' is lol. help?
Grunch, super standard fold. When a player goes from being passive to being aggressive it is a big sign of strength and we really don't beat much here.
