Somewhat of a theoretical question. The game is 1/2/2, effective stacks of 460. Straddle for 5 and double straddle for 10. Folds to you in HJ with KK. You make it 45. SB makes it 135. SB's 3betting range here is QQ+. He will call a 4bet all in with his entire range. If you 4bet between 225 and 325, he will call with QQ and shove AA/KK. If you 4bet a different amount, he shoves all in with his whole range.

Postflop (no matter how the action went pre): On boards with no A/K/Q, he will stack off aggressively with his whole range. He will always stack off aggressively with AA. When he hits a set, he will stack off aggressively. With KK, he will stack off by calling down 50% of the time if an ace flops, and 100% of the time if no ace flops. With QQ, if an ace flops, he will c/c a < 3/4 PSB, and fold to a reasonable turn bet 60% of the time. If a king flops, he will c/c any bet and call the turn, unless the turn is an ace, then he folds 70% of the time. If both an ace and king flop, then he c/f 90% of the time, and calls down all the way 10% of the time.

Under these assumptions, what is the best preflop action?
How do you play flops with:
AKx
AQx
KQx
Axx
Kxx
Qxx

It would be great if someone can plug this into cardrunners EV, but I also want to hear everyone's thought process. So please wait a bit before posting cardrunners EV results.

if he's always calling a 4bet, then it's an easy All in.

Great, another thread about folding KK preflop for 46BB.

Even better, it's a thread about a set of Kings with an SPR of <2.

I only read the first bit. Shove. If he has aces reload.

Shove. Ur a 50% favorite against his range but the dead money in the pot means u should shove (but folding everything less than kk+ pre). On axx flops and akx flops u call a flop bet but fold to any further action. On qxx flop just fold to any bet. On akq flops call him on flop and turn and river but raise river if j or 10 comes Or flush comes and fold if q comes

Based on pot and stack u only have to win 44% of the time to break even on a call assuming u have no fold equity which is why this is a shove.

That is not what this thread is about. I had hoped for better. Oh well, thread dies. At least the silver lining is that there will always be fish in poker.

based on the random stipulations you set, I'm pretty sure 4b to 225/fold is optimal.

Your postflop stuff is mostly nonsense fwiw. eg. "With QQ, if an ace flops, he will c/c a < 3/4 PSB, and fold to a reasonable turn bet 60% of the time."...so you're saying of the 460 starting stack, and after he puts in 135 preflop, he's going to check call a 214 bet on the flop, then fold the turn for his last 111?

These things are so contrived though and not based on the reality of how anyone plays, so you should probably just have fun playing with pokerstove and a calculator to figure all these what-ifs out on your own if you want these questions answered.
