Villain ($125) (UTG) loose and bad. We are on a new table that has been open less than 1 hour. His starting stack of $300 has just dwindled down. He has been calling down and losing.

Hero: (covers) there are no table dynamics and table is new. I have been pretty card dead but have won the only pot I have opened with a c-bet.

Pre flop UTG limps, there was a raise to $10 in MP from a 100bb stack and I called in position with pocket 4's. The BB called.

Flop($41): j,9,5 it checks to raiser and he checks as well. With 4 people in the pot and this flop hitting limp callers range, I check behind.

Turn$41) 3 (rainbow board): checks to me again and because I think I have the best hand and have to protect against all of the combined over cards I bet $15 expecting to take it down. Villain calls

River: ($71) j and villain leads for $35. He can't have anything, right! Hero calls

Turn bet is too small even if its a bet to protect your equity. I think you are best on the river and its more of a raise or fold type spot. His bluffs can often beat u in this spot. I personally would just fold and move on because he may not fold 9x
