2/5 NL Live - 7 handed

V1: 60 y/o white guy. Plays a lot of hands pre-flop. Not a great player but not awful.

V2: 25 y/o white guy. Straight fws TAG but not a deep thinking one
V3: 25 y/o Latino guy. Playing cautiously and timid

We all have about 600 when we start except V1 who has us covered.

I raise UTG+1 with TT. The 3 villains call.

Pot=$60. Flop: Q98

I bet $40. V1 raises to $90. V2 and V3 both visibly start to do math and calculate and talk about pot odds and essentially indicate they are on draws and they don't know how they fold their hands. They both call.

PoT is $370 and it is $50 to us... What is the best play?

Call we are getting over 7 to 1? Then reassess turn?
Shove? Is there merit for a big squeeze semi-bluff here?
Fold? Seems real bad!

First, I would have raised at least $20 pre. Second, I wouldn't cbet this flop 4-way. Also, you need to give us the positions of the three Vs.

I'd fold here. One of our T "outs" completes the flush while the other completes a possible straight. Same with the J. And even if we nail the non diamond J, we could be chopping.

Too many people with too many outs to beat us. I agree with this post. Too many bad outcomes for playing this hand.

So V1 is raising with two people still to act behind. That's pretty strong because there's no reason why they can't have strong hands themselves. And this flop hits all of their PFR calling ranges.

This also means we cbet this flop with three callers behind us. I wouldn't recommend that. There's nothing wrong with checking.

What is a "big squeeze semi-bluff?" Is that something you made up? How is it different from a semi-bluff? Oh, maybe that's when you semi-bluff into a large number of players (a protected pot), something that we all learned not to do in our first year playing?

It's odd, even dumbfounding, that you wouldn't consider a different sized raise, say $200 on top.

What is "reassess turn?" How is that different from some other way of playing the turn?

You have 3 outs to the nuts, so you would need to collect like $750 to justify the $50. There's a chance that someone else has a T, and there's a chance someone has JT. I would probably fold rather than chase 3 cards.

dont c bet this flop

you have 3 outs to a 4 card straight that won't get paid and you might still chop anyway

on the off chance your 10's are good here you still have to dodge a lot of cards... just not worth it

why are we considering raising here?
