Since there is a general consensus of a raise to $80 to $110, I'm not going to drag this out

Good thoughts, an even better edit, and my thoughts exactly. The table had a habit of cascading callers so I raised to $120. But it wasn't enough.
SB folds
BB pauses for about 3 seconds and calls, so we'll call him V3.
V1 and V2 also call.
The flop was almost perfect. pot=$482 K
J
6
V3, V1 and V2 all check.
There is no reason to think my set can be behind KKK, someone could have 666 which would be great, or they could be on a flush or straight raw. I hold the J
as a blocker.
Check (HA!) or bet and if so how much?

There's no sense in dragging this out because I got my real question answered, did I raise enough pre. The consensus tells me yes, I didn't err in going too low, so now it's just a bad beat story.
I bet $145 hoping to look a little weak and to give something like AK a chance to x/r. V3 thought about it for a while and it was clear to me he was deciding how much to raise. To my delight, he went AI. V1 and V2 fold, I insta call.
He held KJs and the turn was one of his two outs, another K. I lost Js full of Ks to Ks full of Js. I'm sure we were both pot committed on the flop and there was no possible series of checks, bets, and raises that would not have resulted in me being AI. If I didn't make an error pre, then I don't like it, but I can live with it. Poker happens.
