Circa 2004 the games were a lot softer, no?

30 Hands an hour opposed to 500+ is a glaring difference as well, isn't it?

Do u think u'd have any trouble playing 16+ tables 25+ hours a week and earning most of ur money in 'Rakeback?' Could u grind out six figures playing 5/10+ (with less tables?)

BTW: I always enjoy ur posts, loved ur well and probably owe u some money for the 'tips' I've picked up off of u? If I get out to LA I'll definitely pay the $500 for 4 hours just to 'shoot the proverbial shyt with u.'

Embarrassed to say I'm a 30+ year old 'Fan Boy.' lol
in 2004 the online games were beyond soft. no one was saying, "hey these online guys are good"

i would never play 16 tables or 10 or 6...4 is the max for me. after that it becomes a job i dont want and wouldnt apply for. if that means i cant make a living playing nlh online so be it. i have no affinity for or attachment to to the game. poker is a vehicle to trick people into betting on losers. sometimes this vehicle even has seven cards or 5 with 3 draws, its all the same to me.

theres nothing wrong w/ respecting a professional in a game you want to learn. ive bought plenty of dinners for driving range pros to pick their brain.

Also the games around here, are split between casino spread limit games (1/2-250, 3/5-500 and 5/10-500) and true NL games in clubs.

In the clubs, the games tend to get very deep and very wild. In the casino the games get deep on weekends, with varying degrees of wild. The spread caps tend to keep things from getting too wild

Example of "wild and crazy" 1/2 game...

Hero is in the BB with AKs, UTG (fairly good player with ~800BB behind) opens for $22, 5 calls including the BTN who is a total nut case with ~400BB, SB FOLDS!, I RR to $225 (I cover the table)... UTG tanks and final folds, folds to BTN who ships it, I insta call... AKs versus KJo...

or this gem...

1/2 uber deep, eff ~900BB

Villain opens for $25, I 3bet with QQ to $100, folds back to him, he 4bets to $350, I ship it for eff $1800, he tanks, makes a speech and finally calls with 88!
This game sounds amazing.

Add to this easy to see when drunk, tired etc. etc.
