H- tag image, solid. This game is a bit ridiculous, 2 good players and the rest could show up with anything. Is a 1/1 game but every pot is straddled. Average stacks are 600bb with a few sitting with over 1000bb's.

v- huge fish, will play atc especially suited and will pay way too much to draw to flushes. He has been running like god

5 handed

eff stacks - 500

h on btn 56cc

ep (chinese fish) opens to 5, utg+2 calls, v in mp calls, good tag in co calls, h calls

flop(25) j34cc
chinese fish x, utg+2x, vx, co bets 15, h calls, chinese fish calls, utg+2 folds, v raises 35, co folds, h?

Obviously i'm not going anywhere here, i was very close to raising the co but elected to call. My main question here is; if I'm going to raise am I better off jamming in order to maximise fe?

In this situation v's range looks like a set, random 2 pair and tptk, I'm giving him less credit for a draw as he doesn't seem to play them aggressively, and although he could have a set I actually think he would often times wait until the turn to put in a raise, even on such a wet board, although this could be wrong, I'm atleast sure he would do it some of the time. Also his raise isn't particularly big and I think he may raise more with a set.

Thanks

I probably just call here. Bad players rarely fold after check raising....

Plus you don't know if your flush outs are good.

Raise the flop yourself the first time.

I am confused. The title says "aggro fish," but then you assign him a tight range. Against that range call and bink. I wouldn't try to bluff a fish off TPTK+ after we already just flatted a bet on a wet board.

I'm also very confused by the description of V. He's an aggro fish, but he doesn't play draws aggressively and probably doesn't raise sets on wet boards? What about him is aggro? Also, which flop card is the non-club?

Normally I'd raise the first time, but it sounds like we have ~zero FE against these opponents, and in particular it's unlikely we'll get higher clubs to fold. Not really interested in stacking off this deep with a 6-high flush against guys who play any two suited cards. However, we have great IO with our 6 non-club straight outs against a peanut gallery.

Calling the 2nd time also, for pretty much the same reason. I'd need a clearer range on V to overbet shove. Plus, if the jack is the non-club, we hate when he shows up with Jxcc.

In a multi-way pot with this hand, on this board, against that villain, make a hand before you ask him to put the money in.

I like flatting his flop raise.

1) It's a very small raise and if he's calling off most draws, but folding his marginal hands then raising only gets you in dominated or scraping for outs because he has a better draw.

2) You're 500bbs deep in a 4 way pot with a big draw. You want to keep as many people in the hand as you can and hopefully hit a disguised straight.

3) Even if you were 100% sure he had a set, you're 500bbs deep and villain has a tendency to put too much money in the pot. Try to make a hand.

There really isn't any leveling done here, it's just math.

Just call. You have position and getting good odds. No need to flip for stacks vs a fish.
