1/2 800 deep against rather weak and passive reg. Hero has a loose and aggressive image.

Hero straddles 4. Dealt KK
Folds to SB. SB limps. BB (villain) bets 15. Hero raises to 55. SB folds. BB calls.

Flop K73 (114)
BB checks, Hero bets 60, BB calls

Turn J (234)
BB checks, Hero bets 125, BB raises to 325, Hero ?

At this point BB has 500 behind, he is on the passive side, rarely bluffs but is capable of running a big semi bluff.

Should I just call here or GII to deny equity to single ? Top set limits his top pair combos so he is very polarised here: flushes, sets and AT+ with pair/gutshot.
If called on turn, how do I proceed on non river against shove and do I shove myself if villain checks?

Thank you in advance.

i tend to just call here. you are getting your odds to make a full. and by raising you give that up. his raise was small so it seems like a play with the nuts as he isnt afraid of another club.
passive players dont jeopardize their whole stack with check raises with draws or weak hands.

EZ call to boat up and stack him.

If called on turn, how do I proceed on brick rivers when villain shoves?

Call turn. Call brick river if jammed on. You will be getting 3:1 otr, and he can clearly have JJ and AcQx, among other worse hands. He would need to have dozens of combos of flushes in his range in order to justify folding on a brick, but he probably has closer to 15 combos of flushes. So you must call down.

Call. Pot will be 884, w/ 300 left behind. If they shove river & we don't fill up, we probably still have to fold. But I'm sure someone could argue the contrary. Wouldn't be shocked to see villain overplaying JcJx here, and they shouldn't have that many suited hands in a 3b pot after squeezing pre from the SB iyam.

Thank you for your help.

As played, I called turn.

River J
Villian checks, I jam, villain folds saying I have KK.

you needed to make a smaller bet on the end when the paired club comes.once he checks he has no hand to call with. unless he had the ace and even then some will fold.

I would call ott and fold otr. Very few players are capable of making huge bluffs in 800bb+ pots.
