More useful to try to adjust your lines based on position. for example if you are deep stacked and on his right then you actually have to start thinking about shoving some rivers light. Quite often he reached the river with a weak hand but you still would rather be all in then be pondering a call.

Ah wrong thread, had a different post for here, brb

OK correct thread this time:

Where you want to sit here is largely dependent on the other players at the table and how they are adjusting to the maniac. If most players are just folding and waiting for a big hand play with the maniac then you are best on his direct left. You can iso him, and make the game very difficult for him. If players are adjusting by trying to see a lot of flops and bust the maniac, you are correct on his direct right.

For example lets say villain is in the co. If it folds around to villain a lot, you obviously want to be the button so you can 3bet or flat and play in position effectively.

If instead everyone is adjusting by limp/calling or limp/raising you want to be the hijack. Because what's going to happen is 5 players limp, you limp, CO raises like he so often does, 5 callers, and all of a sudden there's 60 bbs in the pot for you to raise and take down without seeing a flop, or if you have a hand that you want to see a flop with you can go ahead and call. Position is not going to mean nearly as much because SPR is so short, and with this many players seeing the pot position won't matter as much as you can't bluff as effectively and really need to make a hand in order to play.

Not sure why you raise so little with KK, you said this guy never folds to a 3 bet. Pop it to 150 preflop, then shove PSB on any flop. That way you get the advantage of preflop relative position, and you never have to play OOP.

So this guy is regularly cashing out $4500 in a 1/2 game?? 2,750bb's routinely?

It would seem like he is completely running over the table.

If the games playing that deep there has to be a lot of post flop action, hence I'd want to be on his left for sure.
