I only read the first few posts, but I agree with Venice.

Don't chase losses, and don't book small wins. Play until your edge is gone.

If you're getting tired, leave. If you're getting outplayed, leave. If you're getting tilted, leave. If you're losing pots and you can't figure out why, leave. If you're winning, stay. If you're table is full of terribad players, stay.

It's really simple. Admittedly, I'm not very good at that live, as I tend to stay for an hour or two before I realize my edge is gone.

Add a $437 win tonight in Atlantic City. Wins are getting better. Sucking out when your beat (big hand vs. big hand, not sure either of us did anything wrong) is key.

1. Results orientated thinking.
2. If you turn this into your blog, the mods will lock it.

when i first started playing i remember reading a quote from some old school pro that said, paraphrasing, "amateur players eat like a bird and sh** like an elephant."

when i went thru my sessions with a fine-tooth comb, i found explanations for the swings in my play. and for the most part it wasn't run bad or how much time i had played (unless of course i was chasing losses).
