is it correct to get it in preflop with KK when you are super deep ? (250bb+) - Page 2 - Live Low-stakes No Limit Poker Forum

Getting in any non aces hand 300+bbs deep seems super player dependent.

That being said, flatting 3bs with KK should not be your standard this deep, especially IP. Theres a lot to be said for just getting value.

I would say its Villain dependent as well.

Another thought. If you built your stack to 250 bb from say 100bb or 200bb, then hopefully by then you should have a pretty decent read on the Villain and you can make a better decision.

If you bought in for 250bb and you feel its not worth the call, then in the future you should buy in less, say 100bb or whatever level your comfortable with in making this call XXbb deep. As you get reads on Villain, that add more to your stack.

In short, buy in less for whatever bb you feel comfortable stacking off pre.

Two points... One. Your image I would think has many villains both 3betting and stacking off a bit wider than the average player. I have an active 3! And 4! Range and frequently get played back at and looked up a little lighter than the average TAG.

And Two my limited exposure to so. Cal games (primarily from watching LATB) leads me to believe that the play there is a little faster in general than other parts of the country... Am I wrong about this?
