Dynasty posted a thread in the small stakes limit forum a while back with some pretty good links to some strategies regarding kill pots in limit. I don't know how to link this this thread, but simply search on "Schoonmaker" in the title and you'll find it.

I wouldn't mind doing a COTM on bankroll management and why it is so important to our improvement as players. Small bankrolls affect everything from our hand reading to our ability to even ante up in the game. Reading APD's COTM WHY AM I STUCK AT LLSNL got me thinking, because I feel like its one of the biggest reasons people are stuck at LLSNL.

I know its not a sexy topic like hand reading, but if anybody would like to go a little more in depth on the "how to" and "why bother" parts of bankroll management I'd be happy to do it.

Do it and I'll sticky it.

I'm very busy these next couple weeks. But I will try to have it done in a week. I just want to be thorough and not throw together some random generic bankroll advise.

If not, I am down for writing the COTM on bluffing we have been discussing in the chat thread.

Somebody just let me know I'm greenlighted and what my deadline will be and i will jump right on putting it off until the last minute.

that would be awesome. you can probably re-use some of the content from your posts in the chat thread.

i think you've got greenlight pretty much... doesn't look like anyone's writing one.

i guess Jul 1 makes sense? gives you some time. venice can probably give you an official deadline

but i expect anything goes basically, whenever you can find the time to write it up.

a couple things for the COTM: you probably already had these in the plans...

it would be useful to include a section on how to proceed when our semi-bluff has been called, both when we hit and when we brick.

also i think everyone loves all the HH-style examples in your posts. those would be nice to have throughout the COTM also.

I'm on it for July 1 unless Venice10 or KurtSF veto.

seems you were right oh wait maybe you were referring to the veto. nvm

would anyone be interested in a "moving up" COTM about transitioning from $1/2 to $2/5?

i *might* be in a position to write one in a few months. it would be very much an open forum format as there are probably many posters with more developed views on the matter.

I have a pretty busy schedule but I'll set aside some time for a "Setting Goals, Creating Study Habits, & Staying Motivated" if you think this would make a good addition to the COTM.

Write it up, send it to me first, and I'll sticky it if it looks good.

Write it up.

While I like mpethybridge a great deal, I've found it best to wait to see it happen before counting on it.

This is a great point I'd love to hear and discuss more of. My friend told me the smallest stakes u can play for a living are $2/5 with $1000 a mo in living expenses.

Also, according to a source I'd rather not mention :-D Money does not scale equally with difficulty of decisions, therefore you should always try to move up as fast as possible within a level of sustainability.
