V1(150bb) ~ Mid 40s WG. Recently sat down and have never played with him before. Have no reads so far.

V2(100bb) ~ limped in this hand after another limper. Does not give me much information of his hand as he rarely raises preflop (can't remember if I've ever seen him do it after playing several hours). I remember on one occasion he limped third to act preflop and then showed down later in the hand with AQo. Despite this, he seems to be a pretty ok postflop player. Can be aggressive postflop.

Playing 9 handed 1/2 with 100bb. I am in the cutoff with JdJs. 3 players have limped in front of me and I raise to 16. V1 behind me calls on the button and so does V2 in seat 3.

Pot(55)
Flop comes Ad,Qc,3d.
V1 checks
Hero(?)
In this case I bet 40 trying to protect against the FD, while also reppin the ace. Sould I have just checked here due to the 2 overcards? Also, what if there was only one overcard?
V2 calls

Pot(135)
Turn is 4s
Hero(?)

I constantly find myself in situations similar to these where i would be holding 1010,JJ or even QQ and unsure how to proceed when facing overcards vs 1/2 opponents. Thoughts?

Check the flop versus 2 opponents for sure.

With 1 overcard, and less connected board you can consider C-betting. For example A-2-6 or Q-3-4.

I just check/give up on these kind of boards and hope to get to showdown for free or extremely cheap.

Especially if V OTB is tough and floats a lot.

This also means you can check some TP and aces in these kinds of situations. It seems like you're giving up but you're just pot controlling and playing deceptively.

Raise more pre. $26 IMO.

Check flop. (Id most likely fold if either villain bet $40)

Deffo check flop with 2+ opponents, especially when an Ace appears. I am much more likely to bet KQx than AQx.

AP (assuming V1 folded and we are HU), I probably b/f turn now to continue the story.,

Okay thanks for the comments. Will tread more carefully in the future.

Trivial check/fold to almost any action. You are 3 ways, OOP, 3rd pair, the board smashes their calling range. You don't really have a bluff catcher.

Preflop you had a monster, now you don't. Now Q6o is better than you. Would you go crazy barrelling Q6o here?

Definitely checking. People play a ton of Ax live, the A being a diamond blocks a lot of flush draws anyway, you aren’t grtting much value from flush draws anyway since they will have good equity against you and can easily bluff you off your hand if they miss.

Welcome to the world of over cards. Just C/F to any action in these spots.

With ranges, which are absent here, u can c-bet HU on say an A73r flop. Nevertheless, this requires some history between Hero and V.
