Can't win on Fridays Can't win on Fridays

Is it just coincidence? I don't think I play any worse but I get sucked out a lot of the times on Fridays. I can tell people are a lot more loose and bad on Fridays and Saturdays but I still can't in fridays/

KK in BB. UTG straddles. 4 additional callers, I make it 45. UTG insta calls. MP Shoves for 82. folds to Hero who calls and UTG calls
FLOP: T86
Hero goes all in for around 310.
UTG calls and has 290
TURN:Q
RIVER: 3
UTG shows J9 for straight
MP shows A6 diamonds for flush

Only one example, but they always seem to happen to me on Fridays. Anybody else have a day where they can't win for the life of them? Should I just skip Friday and go Monday-Thursday and Saturday?

Sounds like you should make it your day off.

Is this for real? Don't change things based on random noise. (Unless of course it affects your play, in which case let's work on that first...)

roughly 183 hours played. hardly enough time to get any meaningful data from. just take a few off and try again in march or something. friday is a bad day to take off in general.

yup. didn't you know Fridays are the days where the dealers deliver bad beats on purpose? surprised you haven't heard this yet...

Lol I'm just lost. I've won maybe once out of the last 5 Fridays. Lol it sounds dumb I'm just curious if anybody else has had similar results/situations... Be easy on me, just took a couple hard losses. Don't need to be trolled

Yes, I've gone through the same thing. Could win on Fridays; couldn't win on Saturdays. Eventually it turns around.

What is going on with your life? Is it possible you are just not playing your best on Fridays due to work; not getting enough sleep, etc.?

Take a Friday off and then come back at it. Like others have said, it's a day you want to play.

Hmm...sounds like a combination of negative variance and burning yourself out. Maybe instead of taking Fridays off, you should take off Wednesday or Thursday, so that you are mentally rested for the weekend grind.

So I think your specific hand example in this thread is bad. This sounds like a good table. Straddle defends with J9 to a $45 raise. The game seems good. Where is this and what limit?

Is that an APP? or did you self make that?

It's a great game and ya it was a good table but I bring 2 buy ins and if I'm ousted I dip out.
San Diego. $2/3 $100-300 buy in.

Either play better on Friday or take the day off.

Your sample size is FAR too small to really be meaningful.

Now I *have* noticed that the clientele does seem to change between the weekends and the weekdays (at least where I play). So the idea that your long term win rate might change based on the day of the week is believable. I see a lot more random recreational players on the weekends, instead of regulars. Also more drinking.

The change in table dynamics is that you'll have a higher winrate on the weekends with the really bad players, but you'll also have significantly higher variance. You'll get called for $300 by a gutterball on the turn in a wild game, and you'll remember getting sucked out on. But on a wednesday afternoon against a bunch of nits you can have the same two hands and board and play a significantly smaller pot, probably taking the pot down a street or two earlier than in the wild game. Which isn't memorable.

Just finished my session and I was thinking the same thing while taking my notes. Pretty good table full of fish and I couldn't won any single hand. KK < 2s5s, JJ < 2s8s, QQ < 4h5h. Better do something else on fridays lol.

Forget trying to make reason out of randomness.
